Kibo Productions is proud to invite you to script-in-hand readings of Maryland by Lucy Kirkwood on 11 - 13 November at the Barons Court Theatre.

​

Maryland premiered at the Royal Court this October and was written following the murder of Sabina Nessa and the rape and murder of Sarah Everard. Arranged with permission from Lucy Kirkwood via the Royal Court, the readings are part of an effort to amplify the reach of the work to those unable to attend the readings at the Royal Court Theatre.

​

Proceeds from the readings will be donated to Solace Woman's Aid which exists to end the harm done through Violence Against Women and Girls. Their aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors particularly women and girls. Their work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.
