In the near future the world is in the midst of another financial meltdown. With panic in the air and desperation on the streets, Foster struggles to give his daughter Hope a chance at a future. When the government passes a new law that provides a permanent way out, Foster and Hope find themselves faced with an impossible choice.

Shortlisted for 2017 Kenneth Branagh New Drama Writing Award, Indignitas is a play about family, mortality, and survival at all costs.

Developed as part of the Criterion New Showcase, Indignitas performed as part of the Criterion New Writing Showcase at 2pm on 20 November.
